I have been playing some cash games at the Bellagio for the past few days and tried a few satellites for the Bellagio main event. The cash games have been going well, but the satellite have been terrible. I keep getting to 3 or 4 handed and just can't seem to win. I really hate buying into the events but I guess I'm forced to this time.
I have been checking in with people at the Rio and although I wish I was still in it I am excited to be kicking off our final table consulting group. Our aim is to work with one of the finalists to help them prepare and give them the best chance of winning. Since there is a 3 month break, there is plenty of time to prepare. We will also shoot the training and prep work for a pilot. In addition to Michael Binger and I, Lacey Jones has joined us to do our "on air" voiceovers , and media work. We are also talking with a couple of others, more on that later.
After The Bellagio Cup I am going to take a few weeks off to catch up on life. The last 8 weeks have been pretty consuming, and I can't wait for the time off. I have been working on my upcoming schedule and trying to decide which events to play in the upcoming months. As soon as I finalize it, I'll let you know. I will of course be at The Borgata in September, and prior to that I am looking into Macau and South Africa.
