Bellagio 5 Diamond

I played in the Bellagio 5 Diamond today. We played 5,90 minute levels in this $15,000 buy in WPT main event. Starting chips were 45,000 and blinds began at 50/100. 497 players began the day and about 375 remained at the conclusion of play. I seemed to struggle all day, never getting into a good situation, but also staying out of trouble for the most part. I finished the day with about 66,000 in chips, and with the way things went I felt pretty good. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. I would love to discuss some interesting hands, but there weren't any notable ones.

I took off the 5 days prior to the event trying to get some work done and to spend time with some friends that were in town. This will be my last event of the year, then I will be heading to NY City to spend some family time next week. I am trying to decide on Aussie Millions or PCA. I don't think I can do both this year.
