Ready for Commerce

Well I'm back in NY City, and the Super Bowl just ended. What was with that Doritos commercial in the first half? Anyway had a decent online day, and I'm getting ready to head out to Commerce for the LAPC. Borgata's main event last week was going fairly well until I flopped a set of 9's on a A 9 4 rainbow board and got my opponent all in with A 9. I'm sure you can figure out the end of this story, I was drawing dead once the ace came on the turn. I actually busted out of 4 events with sets, and 3 of the times I was ahead when the money went in, all right I'll quit whining. It really was a great event and I look forward to their next one.

Is it just me, or has our government lost its mind with all these bail outs. You would figure by now they would figure out that the money is going to those who lost it the first time, and unless you think Citibank getting a new jet is a positive for America. I was hopeful that this new administration would be a step in the right direction, but so far I'm not impressed. At least all the executives at all these companies are still getting good bonuses. Thank god they don't have to go and actually work for a living. I think this will turn out to be the biggest fraud perpetrated on the American people to date.

Okay how about some more on the WSOP. I am somewhat disappointed they didn't shorten the break after reaching the final 9 players in the main event. I was initially skeptical about the change, and yes it was a positive, but the break was too long. The end of the re-buy events I believe to be a mistake. I welcome those who re-buy a million times. It gives so much value if you play smart. It's like having a bunch of bad players at your table. Overall I think the folks at the WSOP did a fantastic job last year and I would bet there will be improvements. I can't wait.
I am trying to finalize my schedule and after Commerce and am trying to get my book finished. If there any topics or questions you would like addressed, please feel free to email me at the below address.
