Ready to Play

I took a little poker/blog break for this past month and got caught up on a myriad of other things. Although, I have been playing online quite a bit and am ready for the upcoming FTOPS. I did get to Puerto Rico with some close friends for a week of golf, which was great except for my game. I have been watching some poker on TV and caught the last episode of high stakes. All I can say is OMG, I would love to play in that game on a regular basis. Unfortunately it is out of my comfort zone bankroll wise.

I am getting ready to head over to Europe for San Remo and had planned on staying for Monte Carlo, but I can’t miss the great events going on at, yep you guessed it, the Borgata. I do occasionally get criticized for my positive stance on the Borgata, but they do it right and are one of the few places that still seem to care about the players. What a concept, all you need to do to be successful in the casino poker business is have a great product and offer outstanding customer service. Too bad most of the other places haven’t thought of this.
Here is the link to the schedule of events: http://www.theborgata.com/Main.cfm?Category_1=3000&Category_2=3500&Category_3=3510&SchedulePageID=4D90BE05-D85A-60BB-9D6ED2505FF232F6

I am headed to Cornell University in Ithaca NY this week to give a lecture on poker/life to the undergraduates.
