I apologize for not writing a blog in such a long time. I am terribly addicted to Rush Poker, it is so easy to jump right in whenever you get a free 15 minutes or 12 hrs. I haven’t even been watching the news, Rush Poker is so fast paced I don’t even watch TV while I play.

In fact the only way that I know that the most important news issue of the day is gay marriage, is from the final question asked of the winner of the Miss Malibu pageant, for which I was a judge yesterday.

To be fair the question was about what she felt the most relevant issue facing Malibu was and she did say that the budget crisis Malibu was facing might be more important. The only problem with that was I happened to be sitting next to the Mayor of Malibu who was muttering that Malibu’s budget was in great shape. I think she was just getting ahead of herself and thought she was in the Miss California competition.

I enjoyed the experience being a judge for Miss Malibu quite a bit. Despite my making fun of the last answer she gave the winner was a beautiful, poised and well spoken girl, who is probably smarter than I am. I voted for her in every round.

Oh, she is pro gay marriage. I also would be pro, but really don’t think it should be an issue. It’s ridiculous for us to be focusing on this in the upcoming elections. If you are not gay it doesn’t affect you, just leave them alone, at least they aren’t breeding like rabbits to overpopulate the planet like the rest of the world, which I see as the most important issue of the day.
