I am elated about winning my seat to the $25,000 WPT Championship last night in a $2500 multi-table satellite at the Belagio. It is the first live multi-table satellite I can remeber playing, although I play them regularly on Full Tilt ( I won my seat to the WSOP ME on Full Tilt the year I made the final table). It was a good tournament sarting with 10k in chips and moving along at a reasonable pace. At least it seamed so to me, never losing a pot and being in a positoin to ante off for the last 2 hrs or so without much worry, thanks to a nice size AA vs KK pot that followed another nice pot where my A-K won a race against David Williams' 4-4.

There were 262 players wich was nice after a very disapointing turnout for the prelims, of which I only played one. I am playing day 1b on Sunday.

Looks like they had 110 players today for day 1-a which is very low I hope there are a lot more on Sunday. I dont want to sound like Jay Leno but "The economy is bad. The economy is so bad….."
