"Like winning another bracelet"

As I walked the "Miller Brewing Company" factory line yesterday (Tuesday) in Milwaukee, a can of "Milwaukee's Best Light" was pulled off of the line and handed to me. It had my picture on it, and my line "If it weren't for luck I'd win 'em all!" The picture is clear: Me with a PH logo'd hat and a "Poker Brat" logo'd shirt (available at clubhellmuth.com, click "Store"); and the line is in bold print. I suddenly felt overwhelmed and amazing inside. Seeing the can was like winning a bracelet! The feeling I had was really happy and powerful, and I guess that I'll have to watch my ego, if it was big before…Now it may blow up! 12 million cans like this one will hit stores all over America in the next week or two. I will be on three versions--with three different pictures-of beer ("Milwaukee's Best Beer," Milwaukee's Best Light," and "Milwaukee's Best Ice") with three of my lines. One of the lines of mine that will be featured is "I can dodge bullets baby!"
The Kentucky Derby made for a non-stop, crazy week, and I didn't check my emails for five days (a record). We bet $9,000 on "Pyro," to finish in the top three, whoops! I ran into some big celebs and hung with them, but no names yet. I did say hi to Michael Jordan in the VIP lounge of the "Playboy Party." I am ready to play high stakes golf with him, but if I do I may not be able to report the results here in my log, unless MJ gives me permission…My group was a pleasure and included: Jon and Andrea Karl, Greg and Janelle Pierson, my sister Molly and her boyfriend Arthur Monkenbeck, and my brother Dave and his girlfriend Tammy. We hit VIP parties every night, saw the paddock, and bet on a lot of races (I lost a lot of money!)
