I'm looking forward to watching Florida in a few hours, and I'm going to make a huge bet on them to win. I was at the LSU - Oklahoma National Championship game in New Orleans with Jason White as QB. Jason won the Heisman, but he was off of his game that day as LSU romped. I keep thinking of what Texas did to Oklahoma and what Lee Corso said that day about OU's defense, "This is not a big time defense."

I have been driving down to the "Red Rock" coffee shop everyday in Mountain View, and writing thousands of words a day (2,000 words a day is a good baseline) on my auto-biography "Poker Brat." I have written around 30,000 words so far, and nothing would make me happier than finishing this book by the end of the month. I feel so productive!! Of course, this book ends in 1990, within a year of me winning the 1989 WSOP main event. I will work on another auto-biography in about ten or fifteen years covering 1990 through 2022 or whatever.

Annie Duke and I are teaming up at the UBpokerleagues.com to form our own two person team to compete in the UBOC events (Ultimate Bet Online Championships). The UBOC starts on Jan 9, and there is an event everyday through the Championship event-a $1,000 buy in $1 million guaranteed event on Jan 18 that I host. We figure we will have to show the online players who the real champions are! Of course, I may only play in 50% of the tournaments.

Speaking of Annie Duke and I; the first episode of the "Best Damn Poker Show II" airs on Monday, Jan 12 on FSN (Fox Sports Net) at 9:00 pm across all time zones in the USA, and we manage to net yell too much at each other in this seven episode long season. Expect some real twists and turns this season! Also, expect a few old familiar faces, like Hollywood Dave returning, but this time as a moderator. Of course, I do choose a Russian Model (Olya) for "Team Hellmuth," but this time not at the expense of a great player-like in season one--just at the expense of a good player!!
