It’s been a while since my last blog, so I figured I should give a quick recap on what I have been up to.  Of course we are in the middle of WCOOP and I have played 5 or 6 events with a couple of mincashes.  I made a deep run on Sunday but lost KK to A7 with 16 people left, so needless to say I was not too happy with that result.

I have also been playing a lot of Heads Up SNGs and Double or Nothings..  My friend Marc Alioto has been giving me some tips and I’ve been giving him some MTT coaching.

Speaking of Marc, he is one of the four new pros that we have added over at Tournament Poker Edge.  The other three are Brendon Rubie, Danny Nosweworthy and Mike Leah who actually just shipped a WCOOP bracelet.  Pretty excited to have those guys on board and looking forward to rolling out their videos on the coming weeks and months.

Mike Leah also just recently jumped on the Tournament Poker Edge podcast to talk a little strategy, so go check that out at https://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/podcasts or just search “Tournament Poker Edge” on iTunes.

We have a ton of other exciting stuff on the horizon so make sure to follow TPE on Twitter (@TournPokerEdge) for all the latest news and updates.

Good luck at the tables!

Casey “bigdogpckt5s” Jarzabek is widely considered to be one of the best online players in the world. The Canadian pro got his start after an accident on the baseball field left him laid up in bed. With nothing else to do, Jarzabek deposited some money online and hasn’t looked back.

In the years since, Jarzabek has racked up over $2.5 million in tournament earnings and spent both 2009 and 2010 as a contender for Card Player Online Player of the Year honors. Jarzabek is also the lead pro at TournamentPokerEdge.com, which features poker training from some of the best minds in the game.
