Eh. Not much to report on this one. I arrived about ten minutes late after getting just a few hours sleep. We went to Tao and got a table for Stephanie's birthday and had a really good time. It was all of the roommates, Aussie J, Adam Geyer, Alex Jacob, his girlfriend Jen, Stephanie and me. We drank entirely too much and put together an embarrasingly impressive bottle tab. After it was over Aussie J and I decided to play some blackjack to try to get the 2000 dollar bar tab money back. The first hand I put 1000 bucks down and he put 500. We peeled off A7 against the dealers 5. We doubled, so now it was a 3000 dollar hand. We peeled a gross 7 for a 15. The dealer then peeled off a disaster 6 for 11. Almost before we could count the dealer's total, she had put a 5 and a 9 on the felt for a bust. Good game Venetian. Thanks for the free night of partying.

So, in today's tournament I basically just blinded down to 2000 from the 4000 chips. I got moved to a table with Joe Simmons to my direct left about an hour into the tournament. Somehow, Joe had amassed a stack of 18000+ chips already. I think I saw AQ once for my best starting hand of the day. At 1/200 it was folded to me in the SB and I jammed J9o for 1900. I have no idea if that is a shove or not. I need to read up on the SnG ICM numbers. Interestingly, in this hand the 8s was turned face up on the deal and was the exposed burn. Joe called me with A8dd and the flop came 874. I missed my ten outs though and that was that. I went to Bellagio to play some cash. I got about 3 hours of play in and won 2000, my buy-in for the day. The games weren't nearly as good as the night before. I played two big pots on the session. Once, I made a bad call on the river with AA on K7768 and the other I got KQhh AI on the flop of Th 5h 3c vs JhJs and rivered the Qd. Stephanie and I ate dinner at the food court at Caesar's. Now, I'm going to bed because I'm still really hungover. Tomorrow is a yummy 1500 NLHE. Also, I just got a 40" flat screen TV for my bedroom using my PokerStars FPPs. We got it set up and it looks cool :)
