Congratulations to our roommate Jason "20KJay" Mellross aka Aussie Jay. He finished 2nd in tonight's FTOPS 100 dollar rebuy for 66000 American dollars. He played super reckless in the early going and was in for a stratospheric 14 rebuys, but it paid off. Heads up he was playing another friend of mine Garrett "GBecks" Beckman. Garrett has already established himself in the online tournament world, and this is another nice win for him. Extremely excited for both of them. After the tournament we packed up and headed to Los Angeles. We headed out at midnight, stopped at a Denny's somewhere in California, and now we've arrived here at our ever-sketchy hotel at Commerce at 5 a.m. I've been to LA 3 times but never stayed at Commerce, so we'll see how it is. Time for bed. Online tournaments in like 8.5 hours.
