Satellited into WPT Biloxi

I satellited in again. I played 4 single tables (one last night) overall and one mega this afternoon. In the mega this afternoon I got in with 77 vs A9 for a 40BB pot on a board of A97, but the turn came a J and a river the sick Ace to knock me out. I played another single table and got extremely lucky on the fifth hand of the tournament. I raised AxTd in the cutoff to 150 and a guy called in the SB. The BB called and we took Ts 5d 4d flop. The SB led out for 400 into 450. The BB folded, and I raised to 1400 of my 4000 starting stack. The SB put his 3900 total in almost before my chips hit the felt, lol. I thought for a bit and finally called, because its hard to give the random amateur players credit for hands, especially in the city of Biloxi, MS. The guy amazingly showed me KK (I thought A5dd or KT), and I rivered the miracle Ace. I dwindled and then the infamous Tom Franklin's ATcc was better than my KhKd AIPF for my 2800 stack at 2/400 90 minutes later on Kc Qh 4c Jx 8. I moved on to satellite number four. I got heads up with some guy named Ali with a 28500 to 11500 lead and 12000 dollars to play for because of the 2000 in last longer money. His stack was worth about 3450, but I didn't mind playing him HU much. The blinds were 3/600. We took a bathroom break and I turned down several of his deal offers. I finally offered to give him 2500 bucks, which he refused. The dealer put the cards back in the air and before either of us looked at our cards, he finally agreed. I played satellite number five after a great dinner at Prime Steakhouse. My dad made it in town, so he joined Stephanie and me as well as Jon Little and his girlfriend Katy. In this satellite I got HU again with 9000 chips to my opponent's 31000. I talked this guy into another great deal for me. At first I refused 3000 even though my stack was worth 2600ish with the last longer money. We played about 5 hands including one AIPF with my As2h vs his Ah2s where I had to sweat Kh 8h 4c Jh X. While I still had 9000, he agreed to give me 3500 bucks, which would be almost sacreligious to refuse EV wise. He paid and that was that, so I'm in cheap. The tournament starts at 2 p.m. tomorrow. I have decided that I'm going to have three beers right before/during the early stages of the tournament tomorrow. This is a practice that worked for me in early 2006, so we're gonna give it another shot tomorrow to try to turn things around.
