Out of 5000

Sigh. Out around 55th place 27 spots shy of the money. I took 40000 in chips to the break after 9 levels of play. I got moved to a table with Chad Brown to my right and Bill Gazes and Jesse "MazeOrBowie" Martin to my left. I got lucky against Gazes when I got him AIPF for a 56000 chip pot with my KQo vs his A9o. The flop came QT8, and I faded his outs. I would've been crippled to 16000 or so had I lost. I was up to 840000 at one point with the average 70000. A guy in the cutoff covered me and opened for 6600 at 1/2000 (300). I found AQo in the BB and raised to 22600. He asked me how much I had left, and before I could even tell him he announced all-in. I said, "I think you're getting stubborn on me," and he said, "I assure you I'm not." After some thought I folded and he showed me AKo. It was a very tough decision because there is 57000ish already in the pot, and I only had 62000 left, but I was pretty sure he was going to show me AK. I was at 60000 when the bust hand came up. In the hijack I raised to 5600. Jesse had me covered and raised to 16000 on the button. It was folded back to me, and I moved in. He thought for a minute and called with JJ. The board never gave me sweat, and that was that. I'm happy with how I'm playing and expect big things soon.
