Cool. I finished 3rd in the 200 rebuy on Stars for 28500. I also final tabled the UltimateBet 500 dollar tourney and finished 7th for 3700. I played somewhere between 10 and 11 thousand dollars worth of tournaments over the weekend, so 20000 profit is nice. Hopefully I can use this momentum to play well in the Aruba Classic on Wednesday. Aruba has been a blast. Last night Stephanie and I joined basebaldy and Andy "BadgerPro" for dinner at Benihana Japanese restaurant. We had 10 sake bombs and stumbled out to a cab before heading over to the (in)famous bar, Carlos and Charlie's. This is the bar where Alabama high school student Natalee Holloway went missing a couple of years ago. That's a very sad story. Hopefully she will one day be found. We woke up this morning, and Stephanie and I headed out to the beach to Jet Ski and then Parasail. Both of those activities were sick. The only problem with the jet skis was the overdose of salt water you get in your eyes when you take the jet ski over like 5 mph. Was still cool though. Parasailing was great too. Unlike the sketchy Bahamians, the Arubans don't try to cut your watersport sessions way short on time, and there's also none of the uncomfortable bargaining and begging for tips. Afterwards we got some pizza for lunch at this good little place called Tomato Charlie's.

Today was also the 2500 dollar WCOOP main event. It drew an ungodly 7 and a half million dollar prizepool. First will be taking an unheard of 1378330 down for the win. I busted in the middle of the pack when my avg stack ran QJ into KJ on QT948. I was lucky to still be in the tournament at this point though. I was all-in in the third hour with A6cc vs red AA on Qxx with two clubs. I rivered a club. Anyway, there are some notables still in that I wouldn't mind seeing win the biggest online tournament ever. As I write this and then go to bed, there are 106 players left. The notables in descending chip count order are:

Matt "hazards21" Gianetti...Vanessa "LadyMaverick" Rousso...Scott "BigRiskky" Clements...Haralabos "coltranedog" Voulgaris...Anna "VietCutie" Wroblewski...Dave "bebop86" Benefield...and Steve "muggylicious" Sung
