In Flagstaff, Arizona...RIP Nanny

Stephanie and I've spent the last few days packing up the apartment. We finally got it all done after a lot of hard work. I also had my Tahoe in the shop to get the instrument cluster fixed, but the idiots at the shop gave me the run around for 3 days, and I ended up picking it up without having anymore time for them to fix it. The speedometer is the main gauge that's broken, but it's unlikely I'll be speeding since I'm towing a 6 x 12 trailer that is totally packed. My Tahoe is also packed incredibly tight. I hired some laborers off of Decatur Blvd. in Vegas today and they did a really good job packing the stuff. I had to cash out some chips around town in Vegas before we finally got on the road around 8 p.m. PST. We'd gotten up early today, so I decided to only drive until 1 a.m. and 250 miles. Tomorrow, I'd like to make it to Oklahoma City, atleast. It's funny because Flagstaff and OKC were the exact stopping points my Mom and I used when we headed out to Vegas. We got checked in at a Days Inn motel here around 2 a.m. and hope to be on the road by noon tomorrow. Also, I have officially re-enrolled in school at University of Alabama, so I'll talk about that a lot when I get home.

Also, on a very sad note I've lost my paternal grandmother, whom we called Nanny, to cancer. Long time readers may remember that she used to comment often on my blog when I allowed comments. I loved her very much and am heartbroken that I won't get to spend anymore time with her. She was one of my biggest fan and sweated me several days per week from her computer in Alabama when she saw that I was playing online. I'll miss her very much.
