In Birmingham + Merry Xmas

Tired, so this'll be quick. I finally made it back to Birmingham yesterday at 4 p.m. We arrived in Huntsville earlier that morning at 6 a.m., marking 18 hours of consecutive driving. I had a minor accident on I-40 just outside of Shawnee, OK. I hit a patch of ice and spun 270 degrees crashing the trailer into a guard rail on a bridge. It was actually pretty damn scary, and if we'd've skated another 20 feet or so we'd've gone down this big hill that was unblocked by a guard rail, and it could've had fatal results. I had some minor damage to the back left panel of my Tahoe as it appears it hit the wall, too. I just got back in the car and kept driving though. It was quite the snowstorm and probably unsafe to be driving in at any rate.

Somehow I got my shopping all done today. Went over to my Dad's to celebrate Christmas one day early and had a really great time. More updates to come soon. I'm still trying to catch up on sleep from the trip.

Merry Christmas to all of you. I appreciate you reading.
