Wrapping up January

Wow. It's already February. January went ok. Four weeks of school are over. Things are going pretty well in that regard. As I said before, I had my first big test Friday. I slammed 10 hours of studying in at campus library on Thursday, so I hope I did well. Let's see what else is there to talk about. Tomorrow is the SuperBowl, so that should be exciting. I'll probably end up watching the game at my apartment on the big screen. I haven't even checked the lines or anything as betting sports doesn't appeal to me much these days. I guess I'm getting old. I went to the Alabama vs. top ten ranked Tennessee game on Tuesday night with my friend Ben. It was a great game but Tennessee squeaked by. Alabama played very well but Tennessee shot lights out with 9 threes in the second half :( Alabama did knock off a crappy LSU team today in Tuscaloosa. I originally planned on going but overslept for the 2 p.m. start due to a late night last night.

Poker, too, went well for me in the month of January. I played very sparingly. I think I might have played 60 hours all month and 15 of those hours were in the live tournaments at PCA and Tunica and 20 more of those hours were spent over the course of two Sundays of online MTTs. Without sharing the numbers, I netted an amount in January that satisfied me.

I also made a few adjustments to the blog page on the right-hand side that some of you may've noticed. After all this time, I figured out that if I opened my admin page from Firefox then it would let me make the necessary adjustments. The page still needs a lot of work, so maybe I'll get to it in time. Hope life is well for all of you.
