Yesterday was the first game of our trip. It was a blast. We landed in Orlando, rented a car and drove towards the stadium. We arrived at the Braves' home stadium which is actually on campus of Disney's Wide World or Sports around 10:30 a.m. We walked around a little bit and then settled into our seats with some early morning beers to watch batting practice. We landed great seats just four rows behind home plate. After the game we headed a couple exits down to eat at this place we'd heard of called "Boston Lobster Feast". It was meh. It was basically a buffet with all you can eat lobster and some other stuff. Most of the food sucked, but my Dad and I did put, literally, a dozen lobsters away which was nice fun :) We found a nearby hotel called Staybridge Suites. It's neat. I'd been up for like 28 hours at this point, so I came back and crashed from 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Now I'm on a bad sleep schedule. I also just lost 3 buy-ins playing heads up zcx98zxcwwejkahdfkajsajk hdsg. I ran one 150BB bluff that I thought should've worked. I also lost a yucky one where dude raised and I called with 66. It came 762 and I checkraised to 390 or something. He called and the turn was an offsuit 9 which I kind of had disdain for. I bet 700ish, he shoved, I cried and called and he showed me the nut, T8. Those were the two big hands. Losing days never feel good. Oh well. In a couple of hours we'll head a couple hours south to Tampa to catch the Yankees and BlueJays game at Legends Field. It should be insane fun. I've been reading up on the net a lil the last couple hours to familiarize myself with the Braves roster since I haven't watched closely in a few years. I used to be a big fan. Some notes from the game yesterday:

LSU football star Glen Dorsey threw out the first pitch.

Stephanie told me via cell phone to wear sunscreen but I didn't listen and now my arms are burned badly. tilt.

Cardinals fans are insane. The ballpark probably had more fans in Cardinals gear than the Braves despite it being the Braves' home park. I'm not sure how much being the home team matters in spring training though.

This rookie for the Braves, Jurrjen pitched 4 scoreless innings and allowed just one hit. He looked g00t.

Javier Lopez had a pinch hit HR in, I think, the 7th inning.

The Cardinals middle of the order is sick. Pujols, Ankiel, Glauss, Juan Gonzalez, Molina. I expect they'll have a big season.

That's all. Thanks for reading. I'll have an update later tonight or tomorrow from the NYY/TOR game.
