I couldn't think of a title for this blog, so for the first time in my 29 months of blogging I'll use the current date as the title.

I am having a lot of trouble sleeping for some reason lately. I'm averaging like 3 to 4 hours of sleep per 24 hours. I got a few errands done yesterday and then went to the gym. woot. I'm about to go again tonight and am kinda getting into it. After the gym I sweated the NBA game where sadly the Hornets fell to the Spurs. Finally, I joined my sister and my friend Travis for some gambooooling on the strip. We degen'd a lil at Paris and then a lot at Bally's. I was stuck a few hundred playing this stupid game called Crazy 4 Poker or something, but then I severely outplayed the blackjack dealers at Bally's and pulled to a one hundred dollar winner. We actually stayed pretty late, and I didn't drive home til like 3 a.m.

Today has been shitty so far. I woke up at like 8 a.m. and was bored so decided to load up a couple HU tables. Twenty minutes in I ran QQ into a kid's KK which is an unspeakable cooler HU. Then things went horridly and I ended the session like an 11000 dollar loser, sigh. I'm a little angry at myself because I think I tilted a little. Some of you will be able to relate to this: You get stuck a buy in or two and then you try to almost build pots just so you can run a creative bluff to win some money back. My creative (or not so creative) bluffs ran into the nuts like 3 times. A five figure win or loss these days is about what it takes for me to feel anything, but obviously as a professional poker player it's foolish to put too much stake on any one day's results. Still, it stings. I am continuing to try to be as professional as I can when it comes to this career, but I'm having a lot of trouble with it. Most of my online sessions consist of me browsing the internet, watching TV, and laying down in my bed while I play. I certainly shouldn't be doing these things and should instead focus on the online tournaments or cash games that I'm in. It also probably helps to like sit at a desk or atleast a kitchen table. I also shouldn't stay out late before live tournaments, but I think there is something to be said about still doing whatever the hell I want while I'm young and (now) single.

Tonight's plans are pretty sick. My sister scored a wristband for me to a private party called Hendon Rocks 2008 at Palms that should be a really good time.

Also, I have an in-studio interview with Cardplayer's online specialist Shawn Green tomorrow. In watching the interviews he's conducted, I really appreciate Shawn's passion and knowledge of the online poker arena, so I look very forward to it. The interview is at 11 a.m. tomorrow and then I assume will be on the website a day or so later. I'll link to it when it shows up. Hopefully I still make it after what will certainly be a late night tonight :)
