Week Wrap Up

It's been a few days since I've blogged. Not too much has been going on. I'm very proud of myself as I went to the gym everyday Monday through Saturday this week. I feel so much better about myself in doing so. I really recommend it to anyone. If I can do it you sure as hell can. The true test will be if I can still go 3 or 4 days per week for the next 6 weeks during the WSOP. It's very difficult to bust out of a tournament, come home, and go to the gym as you can probably imagine. I genuinely have been looking forward to going each day though, so I think that's a turning point. I weighed in at 205 this morning and hope to be down to like 190 by the end of the summer.

I've been on an old man's sleep schedule lately, going to bed by 10 p.m. and waking up at like 6:30 or 7 a.m. It's really weird. I've been exhausted from working out though and retired early each night I guess. Most of the rest of mine and my roommates' time has been occupied watching sports each night. It is such a great time of year with all the great baseball and NBA and NHL playoffs. It's hard to tear ourselves away from the TV, so we'll sit there 6 hours. Yesterday and today I played some online tournaments. Yesterday I flirted with a couple of WSOP seats but missed both. Today I redeemed myself though and won another WSOP package on FTP, ship. I also had two min cashes in the Sunday Warmup and the 215 dollar weekly HORSE, lawl, that was fun. It turned out to be a decent weekend of poker as I won a little bit in cash games as well.

I don't think there's much more to talk about. Tomorrow we're going on a houseboat trip on Lake Mead. I will probably be unreachable until Thursday afternoon, as phone service is basically nonexistent on the lake and I obv won't have internet access. We're really amped about the trip. It will be nice to get a little more relaxing (and partying) in before the first WSOP event on Friday. It's a 10000 dollar PLHE tournament. Can't wait!
