Out of Event #41

Just busted in the fourth hour of the mixed hold 'em event during the NLHE portion. I recognized no one at my starting table but eventually Phil Hellmuth was moved in two to my right and David Plastik a few to my left. Phil talked about Phil a lot and was actually playing the noon deuce to seven event, so he was only at the table like half the time. I lost one decent sized limit pot where I capped AKss out of the SB against this Euro on the button. I could probably just call his 4bet too, but I liked the idea of being the aggressor. Flop 974. I bet he called. Turn Q. I bet, he raised, I folded to what I'm almost certain was AQ. On the bust hand I had 15 BB and decided to open limp KsQc up front. We went 6 handed. Flop KT6 two spades. The blinds checked and so did I hoping to CRAI. All checked around. Turn 8c for two clubs now also. I bet 550 and Plastik raised to 1500. I decided to go because it felt like he almost always had a draw here. I was right as he showed me 75ss. River 9h.

We're lucky to have another day off tomorrow while the Senior's play their event. I'll be back in action in the PLO8 event on Tuesday. Should be a fun one. Before I get any emails asking, this obviously doesn't count as the freeroll I said I'd give for anyone that caught me playing o8 before the end of the WSOP, as I stated that would only be in online cash games.
