I busted two tournaments today within a 20 minute span. Nothing at all interesting happened in the NLHE tournament. I basically nitted it up, had to leave for an orbit to go play the HORSE and eventually shoved 9BB from the HJ in the fourth hour with 33 into AK and the board came Kxxxx.

I arrived at the HORSE event to find a table where I recognized only Allen Cunningham. I obv drew UTG when they drew for the button. The first hand I found 62o and folded. The second hand Allen raised up front and everyone folded to me. I had a trivial call in the dark for my last 500 chips. Allen showed 66 and I found the not so shabby Q9cc. The 9s was the doorcard, but the rest of the board rolled out 975x8.

I'm going to relax. I'm back in action in the final preliminary event of the World Series of Poker tomorrow afternoon where we'll play a LHE shootout. This will easily be the most boring tournament of the WSOP, but it's also a decent shot at a bracelet.
