Playing Bellagio Cup 2000 Today

Yesterday was a lot of fun at Hard Rock's Pool. We had a group of about a dozen people, and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. We might start going to the pool party at Hard Rock called Rehab on Sundays and just skip all of the online tournaments.

Today I will be playing the 2000 dollar affair at Bellagio. I hadn't even looked at the Bellagio Cup schedule and to be honest I even thought about just taking the rest of the summer off. I think I would regret missing the last few live tournaments though when I get back to school, so instead I plan on playing the four remaining Bellagio Cup prelims and then the 15000 dollar Bellagio Cup main event next weekend.

Something I haven't really touched on in this blog is the fact that The Game Show Network (GSN) is no longer broadcasting WPT events this season. This is really bad for our business because so many fish play the WPTs just for the shot at being on TV. The fields will get smaller and will now be jammed with mostly professionals. Luckily, this won't affect me too much in the short term because I plan on going back to The University of Alabama in the fall and would've missed most of this season's events anyway. That said, I still need to schedule my classes and make an attempt to get my life in order now that this hectic summer is coming to a close.
