Out on bubble of Orleans 2000

Sigh. Out in 10th with 9 paying of the 64 entrants in the Orleans Casino's 2000 dollar main event. So sick I was chipleader with 3x average when I took the dinner break with Ben Fineman, but I managed to run into two ridiculous coolers against Sabyl Landrum. The first I doubled her with Q9 vs her AQ on KTxJ. Then I completed the SB with AKss at 1500/3000, she checked, I bet 5000 on KJ6 two clubs, she raised to 15000, I moved in, and she called with J6 and I couldn't catch up. I'm not taking anything away from Sabyl though. She played very tough all day, held over me, and is one of the toughest female NLHE tournament players I've played with. It isn't the first and won't be the last time I'll bubble. I've played enough tournament poker that I've got to the point that it only stings for the car ride home. Still, it's the absolute last tournament of the summer, and I JUST missed a few more POY points. Fourth would've slid me one spot ahead of Erick Lindgren to land me back up to sixth. Oh well. I've been awake 24 hours and it's time to sleep. Mike, Adam and I are probably going to buy a 3BR condo out here, so we'll go look at some tmw.
