Scheduled Classes

So, it's about 3:30 a.m. on Monday morning. I have been on a ridiculously crazy sleep schedule the last four days, so all the days are kind of running together. I'm glad to be able to sleep in my perfect tempurpedic bed though with the nice super blackout curtains in my room. Best sleep ever.

The last few days not too much has been going on. I did get all of my classes scheduled. I'll be taking a decent size load of 16 hours. My classes will be American Literature, Legal Studies, Statistics, Accounting, and some Microcomputer Applications course. I'm actually excited to get back into the classroom. Classes begin on August 20, so I still have some time to relax. I got really lucky and was able to pick up what seem to be mostly good professors (per ratemyprofessor.com) despite being so late to register. I'll be taking a bunch of evening classes from like 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. a couple of the nights. This is pretty cool and fine with me because I can sleep late after long nights out :) I have one afternoon class that starts at like 11:30 a.m., but that's my earliest one and only one day out of the week. I also have zero Friday classes which is the nutttttttttt. I can sneak off for some long weekends. I'll update more about school as it approaches.

I came back to Birmingham yesterday to hang out with my mom and sister, Heather and to help her with some things around her house. Tonight we got some dinner and went to see Dark Knight again. My life is so perfect right now. It's so nice to spend time with family. It's so relaxing and so rewarding. I plan on making up for all of the lost time that I missed while I was in Vegas. One of my other priorities right now is to get into really good shape. I came close this summer in Vegas but alas the WSOP begun and it became impossible to get to the gym. I'm back to like 214 lbs but think I can get down to like 202 or 203 in the next few weeks. I'm gonna eat really well starting tomorrow and do my best to abstain from alcohol next week. My body needs cleansing so badly.

Let's see what else. I think I'ma drive back down to Tuscaloosa in a few hours. I'm almost certainly going to buy a condo in Tuscaloosa and then shouldn't have much of a problem leasing out my apartment for the remaining 11 months. Sadly, we had to sign a new lease in like April to make sure they didn't take the apartment out from under us. The lease just started on August 1st.

I haven't played any real poker in what seems like a long time now. I totally skipped the Sunday tournaments today. I think I could easily not play any poker at all, esp NLHE, for quite some time and not really miss it. I hope I don't lose many blog readers. I'll still try to include some poker (or atleast gambling) content every now and then.

Not too much else is going on. I've compiled a long to do list of things I'ma try to do this week. I was planning on hiring an assistant or something, but I think there is something to be said about doing a lot of this pointless lil stuff by myself. It's so much easier paying someone negligible amounts of money to do it, but it will be a large leap in the right direction in helping me not be so lazy and worthless :)

Thanks for reading guys.
