Back to School

Appropriately, as I've started to write this entry, I'm listening to The Deftones' "Back to School (Mini Maggit)". Since I posted five days ago not much has been going on. I've been to the aforementioned 'The Houndstooth' all 4 nights since its re-opening the other night. Can't get enough of it. We've had some pretty fun nights up there.

Class starts back here at The University of Alabama tomorrow. I'm excited. I have 16 hours of classes, but I don't really expect to be THAT challenged by the business management curriculum. Hope to do well. I've told myself if I drop my classes this time then I won't come back again, so here's to hoping I finish.

I played the online poker tournaments Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I kind of blanked. Sunday I had like four cashes, but I don't think it was enough to turn profit despite finishing somewhere in the 100s in the Sunday Million, 33rd in the 100r, and cashing in the FTOPS bounty event. I was proud, for the most part, of how patiently I played on Sunday. It's something that I've struggled with in the past playing online MTTs. For whatever reason, I'm extremely patient and focused when I play live tournaments but I always get distracted by phone calls, TV, music, etc when I play online. Whatever. Still obv turning profit over the lil bit of time I put in online. Congrats to Mike Katz for finishing 2nd in the PS 500 on Sunday for a cool 70 dimes.

More updates soon. Thanks for reading.
