February

Where'd January go? Another week of school is complete. This is already the fifth week of the semester. I had my first test of the semester in this class Music 121 (Introduction to Listening). I made a 99. The work weeks have gotten to be relatively boring. Besides going to the gym, I mostly sit around watching TV or whatever and very occasionally studying. The classes are easy though and don't require too much time outside of class. Still, I'm enjoying myself.

Mike and I both completed our required January workouts with one day to spare on Friday. Therefore, neither of us will collect from the other one. The terms of the bet call for 16 workouts in February, which amounts to exactly 4 times per week. I'm really looking forward to completing another month's worth of workouts. On Friday I ran 4.66 miles, which might me the most I've ever run consecutively.

The weekend was cool. I went to the Bama vs UGA basketball game on Saturday night. Bama won by 5 to improve to 3-4 in conference play. I've been really getting into Bama hoops this year. I think it's because I know the team has so much potential. Yesterday I drove up to Birmingham to watch the Super Bowl with my Mom and had a really good time. What a game!

In other news, I went to Circuit City's liquidation sale the other day and bought some stuff. I'm such a life nit. I never ever buy myself anything and it takes a guy standing outside the store with a "Going Out of Business" sale sign to get me into the store. I settled on a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones, and iPod dock, and like 5 DVDs. The DVDs included the TV series Entourage Season 1 and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 1. I've seen neither series. I cracked open It's Always Sunny and watched the first 5 episodes. Really, really funny stuff. I recommend it. I'm gonna try to get through both series as fast as possible.

I guess I haven't played much poker in a while. I played last Wednesday and bricked the tournaments but made like 4 dimes playing LHE cash. I could really get used to this hardly playing poker. It's nice to be in a place financially where, honestly, I don't need to play much. I could handle just playing a little bit during the year and then really grinding my ass off just during the summers at the WSOP and during the Bellagio series when they arrive. I think I'll probably just take it easy until I finish school 15 months from now. Then, maybe I'll get into real estate, investing, trading, who knows? I'm not gonna wish school away too quickly.

That's all I got. I gotta go to the gym and do some laundry. I should hire an assistant, but again, I'm nitty.
