It's almost midnight on Thursday night. Not a whole lot's been going on besides grinding away at school. We've now completed 7 weeks of classes this semester. I received my grades on my other two tests and posted a 78 and 90, so I averaged on ok 85 over my first 5 tests of the semester. Maybe I'll keep you guys posted on my grade status because it will keep me motivated to keep trying to do well. It's also a testament to how uneventful my life has become. Other than school, I've still been watching a buncha TV. I completed all the way through Entourage season 4, and I've got a few episodes left in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. One more season of each to go.

Things have turned around nicely this month for Mike and me in the gym bet. I worked out 7 of the last 10 days and Mike 8 of the last 10, so both of us are now 11/19 and slightly ahead of the required 16/28 pace. It's going to be tough to hit the gym 5 out of the next 9 days considering I'm going to be in LA and/or traveling for atleast 4 of them.

The WPT LAPC event starts Saturday afternoon. I'm excited to get back into action on the live circuit. My lack of success in on the WPT (and main events in general) over the last 30 months has been pretty fucking annoying, even though it's a very small sample size. I'd really like to make something happen in this one. Me and 7 of the guys have a really fun, romantic night scheduled for tomorrow night. We're gonna catch a limo from the Commerce Casino to this great Italian place called Zucca that we ate at last year for early dinner and drinks. Afterwards, we're gonna stumble down to the Staples Center to watch the Lakers host Chris Paul and the Hornets. We locked up two sets of 4 tickets, both dead center court 10 rows up on opposite sides. It should be a really good time.

It is worth noting that my poker roommate Adam "csimmsux" Geyer won the FTOPS main event last weekend for 450000 dollars. The name csimmsux has become synonymous with Full Tilt's FTOPS series. This is Adam's 3rd career FTOPS title matching Yuval "yuvee04" Bronshtein as the only humans to accomplish that feat. Adam is so good it's unbelievable, and this will definitely soften the blow of the sick beat he took with 15 left at the PCA whilst playing for 3 million dollars. I, myself, have been playing a few online MTTs with much, much less success the past week.

That's all I got. I'll update at each break via my iPhone on Saturday.
