Blah. Stupid day. I busted in the fifth level of the satellite in around 60th place with 22 of the 180+ getting seats. I battled uphill all day. I doubled back to average a couple times, once with T9 vs AA on 678 and once with AA vs AK on KQ9. I eventually blinded down to 5400 in chips at 3/600 (50). A player who had limped a few times, each time folding to raises, limped in the position to the right of the hijack. I found the nuts, J4ss, and decided to move in on the button. He called very quickly with 99. The board came 942x4 to send me to the rail. I ate dinner with Tom West and then headed over to Bellagio to play 10/20. I got off to a great start early after flopping yet another full house with 77. I raised PF and a bad, loose Asian player called right behind me in MP. The flop came QxQd7d. I bet out 200. He called. Turn 5d. I bet out 500 and he instantly jammed. I called 1500 more and turned over my boat. He showed Q3hh but missed his 7 outs. I then took down a nice pot with AK vs QQ when I 4bet PF OOP. We both checked a J92 flop. The turn was a K, and I check-called 1000 in the 3200 pot. The river was an Ace, and I decided to move him in for 3000. He folded QQ faceup. I then proceeded to hit a couple coolers. An Asian player limp reraised me PF to 420 bucks. I called with AK in position. The flop came K84. He bet out 400, and I decided to just call. The turn was another 4. He bet out 500, and I just called. The river was a 2. He bet out just 600 into the 2600+ pot. I thought and finally decided to just call and not raise him AI for his last 1000. He showed me KK, hmm. Minutes later I raised UTG with AJcc. A player in the cutoff called. Flop 8c4x2x. Chk-Chk. Turn Tc. I bet 140, and he called. The river was the Jd, and I bet out pottish, 400 bucks. He called. I turned over my hand, and then he turned over JT, ok. Five minutes later the devastating pot came up. A kid from Michigan named Jim opened for 80 in the hijack with a stack that covered my 6800 dollar stack. The cutoff called with about 6000 in front of him, I called on the button with 74dd, and then Mike called in the BB. The flop came AK5ddd. Mike checked, Jim bet 220, the CO folded, and I raised to 800. Mike folded and Jim went into the tank before calling. The turn was the 8c. Interestingly, Mike led out for 1500 into the 1930 pot. I thought for 30 seconds and then decided to go with it and moved in for 5900. After atleast 3 minutes of thought, Jim called. I kept my hand down. He asked what I had, and I said, "A flush." He said, "Me too," and my heart sunk. I flipped my hand over after the 5c river, and he proudly showed 86dd to notch me. I'm not sure there is anything I can do about this pot. These big pots are going to happen in deepstack live poker. So, I lost 8000, but I'm still up 5200 from cash in the last 2 days. Time to relax. SS
