Jon won WPT Mirage today! He earned 1.06 million American dollars for his efforts. We had a big group out cheering him on and had a blast. This should go down in WPT history as the biggest comeback ever, as Jon was down to 6BBs to start day 2. If you read his blog archives you will see that he didn't even want to show up on day 2, and he went on to win the tournament. He played, so, so well all day. It'll be really cool to see the TV episode in March 2008. Cody and I were propping the flops red/black all tournaments, and we all were drinking beer. I even did an interview with WPT that should show up on the episode. I was reluctant to do the interview, because today wasn't about me, it was about Jon. We ate dinner at Ruth's Chris afterwards. We were planning to go out, but we're all pretty exhausted from last night still. I earned another 55000 dollars or so from my percentages, which is great for me. I'm now only stuck around one-hundred thousand dollars in 2007 overall, which isn't too bad considering how bad things have gone for me, professionally, this year. I'll try to blog more about Jon's FT later. For now, I'm hitting the sack and playing the one thousand dollar event tomorrow. SS
