Satellite Airballs, Twitter for WPT updates

I suffered a nightmare 140 minute delay while actually sitting in my plane in Dallas en route to Las Vegas yesterday. As a result, I arrived 80 minutes late to the start of Bellagio's $2500 super satellite. Luckily, basebaldy was there and loaned me $10,000 for the day as going to get money would have further delayed me.
I drew my seat in the 250 player field and was directly to basebaldy's left, lol. We quickly broke though and I eventually expired after playing for about 3 hours after dwinling down to my last 6bbs. I didn't have more than like 20bb after the first hour, actually. Anyway, I shoved QTss from the HJ into the CO's A6dd and I was put away on a board of 974T8.
I jumped in a $3k single table that had some weak spots. Amazingly, we played 2 hours and 15 minutes without a single one of the 10 of us busting. Table was pretty nitty. I busted 10th when I shoved my 11bb from the SB over a woman's limp and Lisa Parsons found two Aces in the BB. I was gonna play the $1500 mega at 10 p.m. but had been awake like 22 hours already and decided to have a few drinks with poker players at Fontana bar instead. Wow, it feels weird to be blogging about poker.
Just fired up an omelette via room service here at my room at Venetian. I degen'd once in my life at this casino for not-that-high of stakes and they've been mailing me with room comp offers. I've heard people rave about the suites here, and they do not disappoint. The only problem is it's a hella far walk to the lobby to get outta here. Still, it's pretty bad ass. I have a busy day today. I'm meeting with a guy to look at this condo at Turnberry that Mike, Adam and I are almost surely going to lock up for the 2 months of WSOP/Bellagio Cup action this summer. I also hafta do this assignment for class (lol) that's due Tuesday. The only way I'll be back in time to turn it in is if I bust on day 1b of the WPT tomorrow. I'm hoping that is not the case, so I guess I'm going to do it and then overnight it to my sister in Tuscaloosa. I doubt too many homework assignments have been overnighted from Las Vegas in the history of US mail.
Mike and I completed all of our gym obligations for January through March. We decided to put it back into effect for April. We only have 9 required workouts in April compared to the 18 we had in March. This is because of the SCOOP tournaments that found us not being able to leave our house for a week and now this Bellagio series. Mike is off to a hot start this month and I am off to an awful one. I was 2/17 coming into today. I hafta go today, so I'm relegated to paying the astronomical gym use fees here :( I've also been eating healthy enough back home. It's hard to do that here though. People are noticing my weightloss, which is nice to see. I'm at 195 lbs down from my high of 235 in January 2007. I'd like to get down to 185 and hover there.
It's good to be back in Las Vegas for atleast a few days. It's especially cool to play at Bellagio. Everytime I walk in the place I get a sort of feeling of nostalgia. I am eternally grateful to be in this business doing what I love.
Finally, I'd like to mention that you can find WPT updates from me at each break tomorrow at my twitter page www.twitter.com/shannonshorr It's quicker and easier than having to open up my internet browser on my phone because I have a twitter application on my iPhone. Chipcounts are almost entirely meaningless on day 1, so I'm hesitant to even do it, but I appreciate those that are interested in following.
