Out of Event #11

Out of the $2000 NLHE event. I'm now 1 for 7 on the series and -$46,753 over those events. Got off to a good start early as I climbed to 9300 by the first break and liked how I was playing. Came back from break and really started to heat up after busting Noah Schwartz and winning several other pots to climb all the way to 22000. I'd been extremely active at 75/150 I opened for 425 UTG with AKo. I told myself Hafiz Khan was going to reraise me, and he did, to just 1100. Poker is so fucking sick like this that you tell yourself what's going to happen before it happens and then the guy actually shows up with a hand. I had a trivial 4bet against him and we got it all-in for his 7600 and he showed red Queens. I bricked and was down to like 14000. Then, a fish with just 4300 chips at 1/200 completed the SB and I raised two tens to 700 from the big. He spite called and flop came 553. He checked, I bet 1200 and he threw 2200 in (lol). I puke on my shoes of course and move him in for his 3600 and was shown 75dd. I moved tables and grinded for a while until dinner and took 9350 to the 90 minute break. It must've been something I ate. I returned and immediately lost half my stack over the course of a few pots. First I opened with J8o in from the HJ and Taylor Douglas moved in on me. Next, an old guy limped up front and I raised to 1500 out of my 8000 with 55 with no plan. I just didn't want to limp behind. Guy had absolutely no idea what was going on but eventually backraised me 3000 more. I folded. Next, Douglas opened to 1100 from early, got called in two spots and I was really hoping not to find a hand where I'd have to call 700 more for the sick price. I found QJo and have a trivial call because I can lead slam a lot of boards that I get a piece of or flop straight draws on. Alas, flop 953 or something, check/fold. On the bustout hand Phil Hellmuth opened to 900 at 2/400. I thought he was weak this time. Then a Asian kid who had been coldcalling a lot called. I found ATo and moved in for 5200 with more fold equity than you might think, especially against Phil and his 8000 total chips. Phil quick moved in over the top and showed AQ. QxxJx. Maybe I could be a little more patient but I don't think it's a terrible spot. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK. $2500 NLHE tomorrow we'll try again. Being 1 for 7 is right about at expectation as far as what clip I expect to cash at, but I'd sort of like to be deep in something. Didn't end up going out tonight, so I think we're going to tonight. Hell, I have a sick ROI in tournaments when I'm hungover anyway. SS
