Meh. Out of the 1500 dollar Limit Hold 'Em event late in the fourth level. I drew a starting table with all unknowns except for Raymond Davis. A couple of the unknowns actually played LHE very well including a guy in his mid-late 20s who got moved to my direct left with a bunch of chips late in level 2. Basically I showed up with second best all day. I did jump out to 3800 chips quickly when I picked up big hands 4 out of my first 6 hands. I then had JsJc vs AQ at the 75/150 limit. I was in position against the BB. The flop came Q66 with two spades. Strangely, he led out, and I just called with the intention of raising on the expensive street. The turn was a 4s. He bet, I just called now. River offsuit King. He checked and I decided to make a very thin 150 value bet, thinking I'd get paid by 77-99 hand. He called and then showed me AQ after I turned over my Jacks-up. I then lost a pot when I reraised A2o out of the blinds against the button and was at 2200 at the first break. I came back from the break and the first hand of the third level I took a hit. A player in EP raised to 200 at the 100/200 limit. I defended in the BB with A9dd, and we took the flop hu. Flop AJ7 rainbow. I checked, he bet 100, I raised to 200, and he called. Turn 5. I bet 200 and he called. I bet the river in the dark. It was a Jack, and he quickly called. I announced that I had a bad ace and he flipped over AK. I was now down around 1500. I dwindled down to 1000 and then got back up to around 1800. Another sad one came up. A player raised in EP to 300 at the 150/300 level. I, maybe incorrectly, called two bets cold with AcJd in the cutoff. Heads up we took an AQ5 with 2 spades flop. He bet almost in the dark, and I just called. I can really only beat KK here but fold obv isn't option. Turn Js. He bet 300, I raised to 600, he raised to 900 and I didn't like it but moved him in for 925 total. He showed AQ. River x, and I was down to 500. A few hands later a bad player limped and I found ATdd and raised to 300 of my 500 stack. BB defended and limper called. Flop J74 one diamond. Checked to me, I bet. Both called. Turn 7. BB leads out, other guy calls, I call my last 50 chips. River 4 so now I pray they show me 33 and 22 :) Somehow it goes check-check and first guy shows KJ. I muck. I really enjoyed playing this tournament. I think there is something to be said about LHE tournaments. I look forward to playing the next one. My back held up fine. I did an interview with Tiffany Michelle of pokernews.com with wheelchair and all, so look for that if you'd like. 1000 dollar rebuy event #8. This one should play pretty big. If I bust out of the rebuy tournament before 5 p.m. I'll very likely play the 1500 dollar Omaha Eight-or-Better WSOP event that starts at 5. Going to play the 1000 dollar tournament on FTP right now and then relax and hang out with my Mom and Stephanie for the rest of the evening.

Congrats to Cody for finishing 23rd in PLHE, Basebaldy for finishing 10th in the NLHE, and my boy Alex Jacob is poised to win the 1500 NLHE as he is chipleader with 6 to go and he doesn't know how to do anything but win.
