Hello March

This month, my main goal is going to be what many other of you SNE's can relate to. Volume!

Although February was a rather unproductive month for me with my sne grind, I had a nice time visiting family to celebrate my sisters wedding- Congratulations Erica and Tim! and Adam's 25th birthday- Happy Birthday Adam! But, now it's time to get back to the SNE grind. As I mentioned before, I am quite a bit behind pace. About 24k VPPs behind. Yuck. Exactly what you don't want to do, as I mentioned before in my tips for getting SNE. Hopefully, this month goes well, volume wise and results wise, and I can most likely move up to 200NL April 1st. I have been hesitating moving up because I haven't been able to get my PokerStars account to the amount I like to have to play 200NL. For me, that is $20,000. Once I move up to 200NL, I can think about getting back on pace, and even ahead of pace...not going to lie, in the back of my mind, I am still thinking about going for 1.25 mill VPPs again.

As far as the tables go, I have been pretty much break even the whole year. It is really starting to get frustrating, although when I take a good look at my graphs, I can clearly identify days where I got tilty or wasn't focused. Oh well, I know if I keep working on my game, I will get better. Speaking of which, I must say, the tables have been much better since Stars got rid of the 20-50bb tables. Maybe it is just a coincidence, but I have definitely been noticing alot more fish at various times of the day.

Goals for March

- Play at least 350,000 hands. If I plan to take 4 days off, then I need to average about 13,000 hands for the days that I do play.

- Juice every morning. Not sure if I mentioned this before, but in January I really committed to juicing, after my sister gave me a really nice juicer for Christmas. If you have no idea what I'm talking about- it's just a kitchen appliance that extracts juice from fruits and vegetables. In order to benefit from drinking fruit and vegetable juice it is crucial to drink it within 30 minutes of being juiced, therefore when you buy juice bottled, your really not getting many of the vitamins and minerals at all. There are so many benefits to doing this and the reason it really works is that our bodies absorb a much larger amount of nutrients than solid foods. In January, I took my coffee maker off my kitchen counter and replaced it with my juicer and just after a few days I felt incredibly better.

- Read: finish the book I'm reading now, by Mike Matasow, 'Check-Raising the Devil', and '127 Hours'.

Aside from poker, me and Adam joined an indoor soccer league with a few friends. I seriously haven't played soccer since grade 7 or something, and I just remember being on the bench alot, LOL. Soccer was never my sport of choice, but I pretty much love playing all sports, so it should be nice to be apart of a sports team again, nonetheless. Hopefully they don't kick me off because I score on our own net or something... :P
