Love Poker? Love to Travel? Let’s Go!
One of the things I like best about traveling to poker events is meeting new people and reconnecting with out of town friends and acquaintances. If you have a sense of adventure and enjoy poker, I invite you to join me on one of the following trips…
Nevada State Ladies Poker Championship – This event is being held at the Peppermill in Reno and features eight events from now through March 29. Jan Fisher and I are hosting it again and we promise lots of fun. In addition to poker, there will be a game night, breakfast buffet, and a seminar. There will be sit n go available to win entry into the $175 main event which starts at noon on March 28. We haven’t left the men out of the weekend activities. Gentlemen are invited to join us for the breakfast buffet, the seminar, as well as the tag team $120 ½ Omaha/8 and ½ limit hold’em open event at 6pm on March 28. Special room rates are available for this event. For more details, go to http://ladiesinternationalpokerseries.com/tourney/nevada-state-ladies-poker-championship-peppermill-reno/
Senior Poker Tour – The Senior Poker Tour debuted a year ago and Jan and I are happy to be hosts of this tour, along with Dennis Phillips, Susie Isaacs, Marsha Waggoner, Robert Turner, Mark Kroon, Nancy Todd, Donna Blevins, and the Duke of Fremont Street. Players 50 years of age and older are eligible to play in SPT events. Our next tournament series will be at the Cherokee Casino and Hotel West Siloam Springs. I had the pleasure of going there last year and enjoyed everything about it. The rooms were great and the staff and players were very friendly. This event is scheduled from April 9-12 and will feature at least two tournaments per day. There will be Mega Satellites held daily from April 6-8 for seats into the SPT Championship. I am flying into the XNA airport on April 8 and hope to see you there! Details can be found at http://seniorpokertour.com/schedule/cherokee-casino2015/..
Card Player Poker Tour – Tournament enthusiasts – this series was made for you as there are about 30 tournaments in 10 days! For the first time ever, Card Player Cruises is teaming up with Card Player Magazine to host a land-based poker event. The venue is the Royal Casino at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort on the beautiful island of St. Maarten. The Sonesta is offering poker players an incredibly low rate of $140 per person double occupancy, or $190 per person single occupancy at their all-inclusive hotel located on beautiful Maho Bay. This rate includes the room and all you can eat and drink. Best of all, the $1,650 main event has a $200K guarantee that might be an overlay for the players. It is the largest guarantee ever made on the island. For more details, go to http://cardplayercruises.com/brochures/2015/CPPT-2015-Tournament-schedule.html or call 888-999-4880. Be aware that rates are subject to change, so book today!
Card Player Cruises – If you’ve never been on a poker cruise, this should be an item on your bucket list. I am lucky to go on all the poker cruises, and I promise you a good time! I organize at least one private excursion per cruise as well as private parties and seminars. The poker action is great since our passengers are mostly recreational players who want to have a good time while playing poker. We offer tournaments and cash games and an incredible poker room staff. We do a tremendous repeat business because poker cruises are so much fun! There are still four cruises remaining this year…one to Alaska, two to the Caribbean, and one to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. Cruising is the most affordable vacation you can take. For details and the schedule, go to www.cardplayercruises.com or call 888-999-4880. By the way, we are hosting the Card Player Poker Tour on the September 5 cruise!
What are you waiting for? It’s time to enjoy life. Come travel the world with me and create some great memories!
