Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, what day is it??

Launch Day.  Finally.  This has been a long time coming and I’m excited.  Rep and I have put thousands of hours into creating this first course and I think it’s the best no-limit hold’em tournament instruction I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen and created a lot of this stuff.  Ron, our editor and tech guy, and Sean, our web development guru, have been swamped with making ThePokerAcademy.com the best website it can be, free of errors and able to deliver this amazing course consistently and reliably.  I can’t wait to hear what all of you have to say, can’t wait to read your feedback, and can’t wait to interact with you guys on the forums.

The only poker I’ve played so far this year was the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January and a few tournaments at the Tunica Poker Open in February.  That’s it.  I haven’t played a hand of poker since February because I have been working full time to develop this course and get it to you guys.  That doesn’t mean I’m not ready for the WSOP though, on the contrary, watching and re-watching and editing and re-editing this course has me more than ready to play the best poker I can.  In fact, I feel even more ready than usual.  That, along with my plan for a new approach and no schedule, will hopefully make me a happier player this year, even if it doesn’t translate into results.  Of course, I’m always hopeful for results as well.  Right now, Rep likes to break out his two WSOP bracelets at all our family get-togethers, just to show me up.  It would be nice if I could narrow that gap just a little!

We have a lot more great stuff in the works and I can’t wait to share it with all of you.  See you on the forums!
