As I am sitting here writing this, I am also making my reservations for my next poker trip to the Commerce. I will be spending a lot of time there between now and the end of the LA Poker Classic.

I had to skip the PCA in the Bahamas this year. That is a tournament I always look forward to, so I was a little bummed. But there is always good poker at the Commerce, and while I can’t play the main event, there are several tournaments I will be playing. The main always overlaps my daughters birthday…

I also wanted to keep everybody up to date on our 12-Week Challenge and the associated webinar series.

We ran our first webinar in support of our 12-Week Challenge on Tuesday, Jan 5th. Over 200 people watched and it went great! People had lots of good questions and topics for discussion.

The Q&A webinar for Session 2 is scheduled for Thursday, Jan 14th at 6pm PST. If haven’t signed up yet, you can still register by clicking here.

We decided to make the replay of the Session 1 Webinar available to everyone. If you want to watch it you can go here.

We are really looking forward to rest of this webinar series. The response has been great! Lots of people who are already entering the 12-Week Challenge and lots of new potential students came out for the first one. We expect a similar turnout for the rest of the series.

And of course, we are excited to be able to send some of our students to the 2016 WSOP as our representatives. We are going to do our best to make you the best poker player we can between now and then.

On a side note, there is a small schedule change for the Session 5 webinar. It will now be on Wednesday, Feb 17th instead of Tuesday the 16th.
