The past week has been a quiet one in the high-stakes online world, as few pots have exceeded six figures.
Patrik Antonius and Dan “Jungleman12” Cates were one of the few to engage in some large confrontations. The pair did battle at $500-$1,000 no-limit hold’em this past weekend on Full Tilt Poker. The two nosebleed regulars played slightly more than 100 hands together in a brief session, with Antonius coming out on top about $65,000.
The most volatile session over the past week was between Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky and Also11. The duo faced off at $200-$400 no-limit hold’em on PokerStars late Sunday evening.
The highlight of the match was a $153,992 pot for Sulsky with ace-king high. The hand helped the high-stakes pro to finish in the black nearly $400,000 for the weekend.
Gus Hansen, who has been up and down as of late, finished off this past week with a win of more than $100,000 versus the likes of DrugsOrMe and Di “Urindanger” Dang at $500-$1,000 cap pot-limit Omaha.
Be sure to check back later in the week to see if the action in the high-stakes online world has picked up!
