The past two weeks in particular have seen many players tweeting and blogging about the Full Tilt Poker scenario. They have done so in various ways and in different tones, but regardless of this, a reaction is constantly sparked and with so many people involved and affected, a debate always ensues.

Daniel Negreanu voiced his true feelings in his vlog causing much reaction across social media. On Feb. 15 Matt Glantz tweeted, "Note to self – Don’t ever piss off @RealKidPoker " To which Negreanu replied, " @MattGlantz you are safe… For now"

A conversation then occurred between the two:

Matt Glantz: “At the risk of ur wrath @RealKidPoker, u would better serve ur purpose so much better without the vulgarity and inciting violence imo.”

Daniel Negreanu: “@MattGlantz then I wouldn’t be me. I find PC annoying and will never buy into all that. Just be real and tell it like you feel it.” He then added, “I also didn’t curse once!!!”

Glantz: "You have many valid points. Some of which will get lost when the people focus on just the nonsense.

Negreanu: “Passion, truth, and genuineness, are often accompanied by some venom and thats just the way it should be. #PCislame”

Glantz: “As the most important voice in poker, ur actions and antics will be what others will imitate. What u do becomes the standard!”

Negreanu: “you are entitled to your opinion and approach sir. Seems the majority are A ok with what I said and lm good with that”

Glantz: “Yes, just giving you my opinion. Always seem to agree with most of what you say, just sometimes disagree on approach.”

Other players and fans got involved in the conversation, quesioning Glantz about his opinion or defending Negreanu. Josh Brikis wrote, “I disagree matt you can only hold it in so long and being fake or holding back is dumb I think it was perfect” To which Glantz replied, “Obv not advising to be fake or hold back.”

Not one to be silent, last week, Glantz once again posted a blog about the situation, tweeting, “New blog on FTP is up. Plz don’t shoot the messenger.”

Another player speaking out is Doyle Brunson. Earlier this week Brunson posted a blog about the debacle and then tweeted, “@RealKidPoker Be gentle…when you read my blog this week, I’ll need a helmet to keep from getting hurt.#iwillneedtoclarifylater”

On Feb. 21 Brunson tweeted, “Thanks for all the comments about my blog.Opinions divided about 50-50. I’ll write another one soon trying to clarify my thoughts.” That same day Negreanu wrote, “@TexDolly your buddy Howard knew FTP was accepting deposits POST BF. That is shady and unforgivable. No excuse whatsoever justifies that.”

On Feb. 22, Brunson took to Twitter again, saying, "BTW, I never said anyone from FT was “innocent”. I tried to explain my take on the situation. I’ll try to clarify next blog." And later added, “For the record: I had 28,000 on Full Tilt. My son had 30K, my daughter 5K. We never got anything back” The following day, he stated, “To everyone that called me bad names and have threatened me with violence over my blog..CAUTION. Don’t bring a baseball bat to a gun fight”
