Both Chad Elie and John Campos have accepted deals with the U.S. government to avoid trial over charges related to online poker’s shutdown in April 2011, a source told Card Player.
Paperwork has been electronically filed for Elie, but not yet for Campos.
Elie will face six to 12 months in prison after admitting to conspiracy to commit bank fraud, Bloomberg reported. Forbes reported that Campos has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge.
The star witness was set to be Daniel Tzvetkoff.
The trial had been set for April 9.
