Phil Ivey Continues Online Poker UpswingPoker Pro Wins $137,000 Over A Two-Day Time Span |

Poker pro Phil “Polarizing” Ivey continued his upswing over the past week on Full Tilt Poker, winning roughly $137,000, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB.
Ivey took most of the week off, but logged on Wednesday and put a nice dent into his 2014 losses. Ivey played 270 hands over the past seven days, dropping his deficit on the year to about $1.7 million. Back in May, Ivey was down roughly $2.8 million on the web. Ivey did manage to win another poker tournament at the Rio and a huge prop bet around that time, so he’s still up overall from poker this year. In February, Ivey captured $3.5 million after winning a $225,998 buy-in event in Australia.
The 10-time WSOP bracelet winner was victorious in a session of $2,000-$4,000 deuce-to-seven triple draw late this week. Most of Ivey’s action this year has been in the limit games, rather than no-limit hold’em or pot-limit Omaha, though he has had some intense sessions in those games.
The New Jersey native has won roughly $733,000 over the past 30 days on the Internet.
Other winners over the past week include Trueteller ($311,128), AthaCliath ($248,479), Gus Hansen ($188,832) and EireAbu ($147,268). Hansen is still down $20.3 million lifetime on the software.
On the flip side, the following lost money during the week: thecortster (-$291,298), SanIker (-$228,989), Daniel “Ansky451” Stern (-$188,540), Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies (-$126,256) and Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky (-$118,583).
Unknown German grinder SanIker is still up more than $1 million over the past month.
With less than a month left on the year, here’s a look at the best and worst performing accounts.
