A California woman playing penny slots nearly collapsed after hitting a jackpot worth more than half a million dollars, according to casino workers.
The Bakersfield resident was playing the Buffalo Grand Penny machine at the Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville when she drilled the jackpot on the machine.
The casino regular, who reportedly visits the property at least once each week, originally thought she had won a smaller payout of just $5,000. Casino staff had to inform her that she had actually won the jackpot of $562,262.61.
After learning about her actual win, the woman nearly hit the ground in shock. Prior to the six-figure score, her biggest slot win was for $16,000.
