Casino Itself Was Not Affected In Thursday Incident

A robbery and shooting occurred at Hustler Casino in California on Thursday morning.

According to a report from abc7.com, an armored vehicle security guard was shot and wounded and another was injured during the incident, which happened around 10 a.m. local time in Gardena.

An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

Three unidentified suspects are reportedly still being searched for.

The security guards reportedly returned fire after being shot at by the suspects. The armored vehicle isn’t operated by the casino. No one in the casino was robbed.

One of the security guards was shot and wounded in the shootout, and the other was injured. The wounded employee is expected to survive.

It’s unclear if any suspects were shot, and the get-away vehicle was recovered by police.

The suspects reportedly waited for the armored vehicle and immediately began shooting. “As soon as they got out of the car, they were met with gunfire,” a law enforcement official said.
