Michigan Online Gambling Sites Win $150M In July

Revenue Grows Month-Over-Month, Year-Over-Year

Michigan casino gammbling regulators released online betting results from last month showing that the market is still growing.

Michigan commercial and tribal operators in July reported a combined $148.2 million total online gambling revenue. The winnings increased 8.3% over June’s $136.9 million.

Online casino win for July was $126.6 million, up 4.2% from the $121.5 million reported in June. Internet sports betting, which accounted for the rest, climbed by $9 million or 179.5%.

Total internet sports betting handle of $206.1 million dropped 23.7% when compared with the June handle of $270 million.

During the first seven months of 2022, aggregate online casino win totaled $798.9 million, and aggregate internet sports betting revenue was $88.1 million.

During July, 15 operators were authorized for both forms of online wagering.

By comparison, the three casinos in Detroit won $107 million in July.
