The Card Player (il Cartio) is set to be released on DVD August 23. Argento, a legendary film director in Italy, known for his tales of the macabre, tells the story of a serial killer who forces a detective to play him in Internet poker for the highest of stakes: his victim's lives.
The film did not receive wide theatrical release in the United States, but will be available for purchase from most major online movie retailers.
