"ElkY" Wins European Player of the Year 2008

Frenchman's Six Final Tables and PCA Victory Propel Him to Top Card Player Award

Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier is the Card Player European Player of the Year 2008. The Frenchman, who now calls Bertrand "Elky" GrospellierLondon, England home, made six major final tables during 2008 including memorable victories at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January and World Poker Tour Festa Al Lago Classic in October.

He wrestled the title from 2007 winner Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott and beat out his nearest rival, fellow countryman David Benyamine who made three World Series of Poker final tables, including a victory.
