Dusk Till Dawn £1 Million Poker Grand SlamDTD Announces New Eyebrow Raising Poker Events for 2009 |

The Dusk Till Dawn Club is introducing a new festival to bring some of the world's most popular poker events to its customers' doorstep — the £1 Million Poker Grand Slam.
The Grand Slam kicks off on May 27 with its £250,000 guaranteed main event. The £1,000 + £75 buy-in no-limit hold'em freezeout will play out over five days, and will see 405 players begin play with a 20,000 chip starting stack, much like the World Series.
It then continues to mirror both American and European poker attractions, starting in September with the "Monte Carlo" £250,000 guaranteed event. This £1,000 + £75 buy-in no-limit hold'em freezeout takes place from Sept. 23-27, and is capped at 405 players also, but this time has starting stacks of 15,000 chips.
Finally, from December 16-20, the last event will take place — the "Bellagio" £500k Guaranteed. This is the biggest no-limit hold'em freezout event of the festival as it has a buy-in of £2,000 + £150, and 405 players will be greeted at their tables by stacks of 50,000 chips.
The structure of each event is a carbon copy of its namesake, and although the prize money may be on a smaller scale, there is still bundles of cash to be won. Across all three events, there is a guaranteed prize pool of £1 million which will be there for the taking for the new year.
