Dani “Ansky” Stern is the host of this week's free poker video training clip from Card Player Pro (powered by PokerSavvy Plus). In this video, Stern plays four cash-game tables of six-handed $2-$4 no-limit hold'em This video, as well as three additional free clips by other instructors, is currently available on the Card Player Pro preview page.

In the video, Stern purposefully plays a loose-aggressive style (LAG) by three-betting much more often. "Basically, every spot right now where normally I would sort of consider three-betting — maybe yes, maybe no — I'm just going to do it in this video," Stern said. He explains why to avoid short-stacked players in this situation and why LAG is so effective against deep-stacked opponents. He also discusses why three-betting with A-X offsuit can be a profitable move when playing this style.

That entire video can be viewed by members of Card Player Pro, as well as the full video catalog from PokerSavvy Plus. A seven-day trial membership is also available and gives full access to the videos and the site’s other features.
