Annual Poker and Backgammon Charity Event Attracts Star Line-Up

The ninth annual Omar Sharif Poker and Backgammon Charity Tournament takes place on May 10 in London with UK charity David Ulliott Vs Omar Sharif - now That's a battle we'd like to see!One to One set to benefit from a host of celebrity attendees.

The event, to be held at Sketches restaurant and sponsored by PKR.com, hopes to beat last year’s fundraising total of £200,000 which was boosted by Jamie Oliver auctioning dinner at his restaurant.

This year will see Dave ‘Devilfish‘ Ulliott, Dave Colclough, Marc Goodwin, and John Tabatabai among the poker bounties raising funds for the children’s charity which helps over 1,000 children and their families living with HIV/AIDS in Africa as well as peace initiatives in the Middle East.

Tickets for the event cost £365 including tournament entry, food and drink throughout the night and luxury goody bags.
