Most gamblers would be happy with a score of a couple thousands bucks at a casino, but one California man recently went on quite a three-day run, winning $10 million in the lottery a day after winning at a casino.

Sacramento-area resident Bradley Bullock secured a nice win at the casino earlier this month of $2,000 and then headed to his local 7-Eleven the next morning, parlaying his good fortune into a life-changing payout.

“I was able to sleep in a little because I didn’t have to work, but I needed a little caffeine pick-me-up, so I got an energy drink and a couple of scratchers,” he told California Lottery officials.

Buying those scratch-off lottery tickets proved to be well-timed and Bullock was in store for an even bigger payout when he scratched them off later in the day – winning $10 million.

“I knew I’d won before I even scratched it because I scanned the barcode with the Lottery app,” he said. “So, I scratched to see if it was real!”

Bullock chose to take the lump-sum cash payout of $5.8 million. The massive score still wasn’t the end of this streak of luck.

“The very next night, a buddy of mine was doing a staycation back at the casino, and we ended up combining to win 29 grand!” he said. “Three days of wild luck.”

Despite the payout, Bullock decided to go back to work, saying, “I don’t how far it will go.”

In related news, the gambling world recently lost Archie “The Greek” Karas at age 73. In 1995, he made news after driving from his home in Los Angeles to Las Vegas with just $50 and eventually turned that into $40 million after playing high-stakes craps, poker, and other games.
